Baking & Serving Tips

Make sure to get the most enjoyable and best experience out of our pies by following the baking instructions and serving tips below. These instructions are specific to Pumpkin Pie. If you would like instructions for a different pie, please check that page.

Baked

The Pumpkin Pie should be refrigerated at all times. For best results, the pie should be consumed within 3 days of purchase. Before serving, please remove from fridge and leave at room temperature for 30 minutes. Ideally, you do not want your cream pie to sit at room temperature for longer than 1 hour.

Frozen

If your Pumpkin Pie is frozen, please store in the freezer until you are ready to bake and consume. For best results, the pie should be baked within 3 months of purchase. To bake, place pie on baking sheet and into a preheated oven at 350°F. Bake a 9” for 60-90 minutes and a 5” for 50-70 minutes.

Once baked, cool the Pumpkin Pie for a minimum of 1 hour before serving. The bottom of the pie tin should remain warm to the touch. If it is served too hot, the pie's consistency will be too runny.

Tips

  • While you can freeze a pumpkin pie, it is not recommended. The whipped cream and the custard are both best consumed when fresh.
  • To cut a perfect slice, try warming your knife blade with hot water and cleaning it between cuts.
  • Never warm a pumpkin pie, as the filling and whipped cream will not survive the heat.
