Thai Chicken Pie
The pie had lots of chicken, just enough spice for excitement, but I found it a bit salty. Having said that, everyone else said it wasn't salty. I don't add extra salt to my meals, so that might have been the reason. It was still very good and I will buy it again. I topped it off with...your apple pie! Thanks again.
I get it, Tim. We have tried to get it 'right' for years but personal salt preference is all over the map. Glad you could enjoy it all the same. Thanks for the review :)

So I(and my cat) are slowly eating our way through the entire Pie Hole catalogue. Have not been disappointed, and have been turning a couple of neighbours on to the offerings. The Thai chicken was like a warm hug during this month's cold snap. Can't wait to see what the spring offerings are.
ooo yeah that was a good one for the artic blast! Thanks for the support Cat-hy :)

Thai Chicken Pie
Nice flavour, lots of chicken. I was initially unsure how the kids would like it, but they loved it. Filling sauce was a bit runny not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be? Overall I would order again.
oooo! The kids liked the curry spice? Awesome! Thanks for the feedback KF :)

Great pie! I was impressed by the flavour for sure. Somehow left wanting rice...any way to put rice in the pie?
Thanks Netty! Rice comment heard.

Awesome! Thanks so much, Vittorio :)

We enjoyed the pies
Out of the 9 pies this time I was asked to review only one; Thai Chicken pie: I found the pie more on the bland side unfortunately, but if you prefer a very subtle savory pie you will probably enjoy it. Between both savoury and sweet pies we had our favs: our favourite sweet was Colleen's Mistake; will definitely buy that again! I had the Moroccan Chick pea pie and that was a great blend of spices; another buy again. My partner really likes the Beef Bourguignon Pie and that already was a third time buy again.
Thanks for the feedback, Jemma. We'll keep cranking out those hits ;)

Pretty yummy
The filling was on point and the crust was great. Perhaps because the curry was so good, I couldn't get into having it as a pie... wanted the filling on rice. But still a pretty awesome pie. My first savory one and definitely not the last...
Thanks for the feedback, Cathy :) Let the savoury pie adventure continue!

Thai to try this pie
Can’t travel to Thailand? Do the next best thing and try this Thai Chicken Pie. This pie is very flavourful. The filling could have been thicker as cutting the first slice out caused a good portion of the filling in the remaining pie to fill the space left by the cut out piece. Otherwise this would be a 5 star pie.
Glad you enjoyed it, Florence. Your comments are noted :) Thanks for the review.

Another fabulous chicken pie
My family loves the chicken pot pie so it was a risk to bring home a different chicken pie. With great risk comes great rewards! This pie is wonderful, lots of veggies to balance out the plentiful chicken and the creamy spiced coconut is so delicious.
Nice! The gamble paid off! Glad to hear, Gabriela :)

Best pie around
One of my new favourites! I’m usually drawn to sweet pies but the Thai coconut seemed like a good choice to try savoury and I was not disappointed. Purchased it on National Pie Day along with two other flavours (frozen). Looking forward to trying those ones out this week!
Excellent! Fingers crossed for the National Pie Day hat trick!! Thanks Jasmine :)

BEST PIE SHOP IN VANCOUVER!
I’m not a huge fan of curry but this was just SOO perfect and flavourful. Will be back to purchase this pie again for sure
A curry-based pie winning over a curry non-fan...gotta be doing something right ;) Thanks Tina.

Just as tasty as the Thai Tofu Pie!
Purchased this pie because I enjoyed the Thai Tofu Pie so much, and it did not disappoint! If you liked the Chicken Carbonara Pie and also enjoy a nice Thai curry punch, this pie is for you!
Thanks Victoria :) Glad you liked it.

The Thai Chicken Pie was better than I expected. The chicken was so tender and the spices were excellent. Will definitely get this one again.
Excellent! Glad you liked it Bev :)

Variety is the spice!
I expected this one to have a bit more kick to it, but it was still absolutely delicious. It’s easy to add a bit more spice if you’d like, but impossible to remove it, so I think it’s just perfect as is, and a nice change from my regular go-to pies.
Nail on the head there, Jason. It's like a hair cut; you can always take more off, but you can't put it back on. I'm glad you could tweak it and enjoy :)

Thai Chicken Pie
This is a new pie we recently tried out of a number we have already devoured. It was yummy but found the Thai flavour too light. Glad this one didn't have the high sodium though as the chicken pot pie. Hope to try the Caribbean Chicken soon. :)
Thanks for the review SH. The adventure continues ;)

Delicious
I have really enjoyed all of the different pies I have tried from The Pie Hole. The Thai Chicken Pie could have used a little more spice or kick to it, but the Steak and Guinness is fantastic. I would order again.
I hear ya, Kenny. When it comes to spiciness, balancing a punch with wide appeal is a real challenge! Glad you liked it though and thanks for the review :)

Flavourfull Thai Chicken
Perfect crust nicely baked. Tasty filling with quality chunks of chicken and peppers, Was a little wet and had soggy bottom crust; perhaps that was our baking. Overall very nice and great flavour.
Yes, it was all your fault Alison (completely joking). The Thai Chicken Pie has a juicier filling than most and is a tricky one when it comes to crust texture/moisture. Glad to hear you liked it all the same :)

Thai Chicken comes second
It was a good pie, containing a lot of chicken. But to be honest i prefer the chicken pot pie. Very tasty crust on both though.
You can play favourites with the pies, they don't mind ;) Thanks for the review, Christina.

Thai Chicken Pie
I liked this Thai chicken pie so much after trying it the first time a few years ago that I've been ordering it repeatedly ever since. The Thai curry and pie combination is unique and the results were a winner. Every bite was packed with flavour. There was no shortage of chicken. The aroma of coconut curry and buttery pie crust filled the air as the pie baked while I eagerly awaited. It is a must try!
Hi Tracy - thanks so much for your wonderful review of the pie! Looking forward to your next one ;-)
